Dahlia de Vez
- Dahlia de Vez
PFHA # 22,603
1994 black (turned gray) mare
|
|
- Dahlia de Vez
-
- Dahlia is prized as a tremendous
broodmare. Her offspring almost always sell before weaning due
to their tremendous presence and gait. She was not put under
saddle due to her exclusive use as a valued broodmare. Her dam,
Hija de los Vientos, was a daughter of the incredible Frio Viento
- seen on the home page and Memories page - and a fino machine
in her show days.
-
- Dahlia's pedigee shows three
Top Ten Sires - Triunfo (PR), Plebeyo (COL), and Coral LaCE;
two Grand National Champions - Coral LaCE and Frio Viento; as
well as a Reserve Grand National Champion - Plebeyo.

-
- Falina is a full sister to Sundancer
Mako, Sirena de Coral Mako, Coral's Genius Mako, and Coral's
Viajero - just to mention a few of her well known and respected
brothers and sisters.
-
- Notice in particular the laid
back shoulder and extension in Falina's stride - an exceptional
asset for speed-bred Pasos.
-
- One ride in France on her full
sister, Coral's Salina de Vez, brought an entire family and their
vet from Germany to La Caballeriza. Their goal was to buy a full
sister and breed to Sundancer Mako to produce more of these exceptional
speed horses.
